Private Jet & Charter Flights for Pets — Taiwan
Some journeys shouldn't happen in a cargo hold. For clients who expect the same standard of travel for their pets as for themselves, we arrange private jet charters, bespoke air charter and first-class escorted itineraries to and from Taiwan — your dog or cat in the cabin beside you, wheels-up on your schedule, every permit already cleared.
Why VIP clients charter instead of flying commercial
Commercial pet travel is a system of rules written for airlines, not for you: size limits, breed embargoes, seasonal heat restrictions, and the hold. A private charter removes all of it. This is luxury pet travel in the literal sense — the aircraft adapts to your pet, not the other way around.
| On a commercial flight | On your private jet |
|---|---|
| Pets above cabin weight limits travel as checked baggage or manifest cargo | Every pet rides in the cabin — a Great Dane has the same seat rights as a chihuahua |
| Brachycephalic breeds (bulldogs, pugs, Persians) widely embargoed from the hold | No breed restrictions — snub-nosed breeds travel safely at cabin pressure beside you |
| Fixed schedules, seasonal heat embargoes, connection risk | You choose the date and departure hour; the jet waits if the vet visit runs long |
| Public terminals, queues, crowds | Private FBO terminals — chauffeured car to the apron, discreet boarding in minutes |
| Several pets per family means several bookings and airline caps | Multiple pets, the family and staff travel together on one aircraft |
Three tiers of exclusive pet travel
Full charter is the flagship, but bespoke doesn't have to mean the whole aircraft. We build the itinerary around your pet, your dates and your budget.
| Option | What it is | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Full private charter | A dedicated jet from Taipei Songshan (TSA) or Taoyuan (TPE) — light jet for regional hops, heavy jet or bizliner for long haul. Pets in the cabin, catering and cabin crew briefed on animal care. | Multi-pet households, large or snub-nosed breeds, elderly or anxious animals, absolute schedule control and privacy |
| Shared & semi-private charter | A cabin seat for you and your pet on a pet-friendly charter already positioning on your route, at a fraction of full-charter cost. | Flexible dates on busy corridors — Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore |
| First-class escorted commercial | Premium-cabin itineraries with a dedicated 886JetPet escort travelling with your pet, VIP ground handling, and priority live-animal cargo space when the cabin isn't possible. | Long-haul routes where charter isn't justified but standard handling isn't acceptable |
The one thing a jet cannot buy: skipping quarantine law
Here is where our team earns its place on your charter. A private aircraft clears customs and immigration like any other international arrival — Taiwan's APHIA export inspection, the destination country's import permit, rabies titers and health certificates all still apply. An owner who charters a jet without the paperwork discovers that the ramp agent cannot wave a dog through, however the dog arrived.
We run the compliance file in parallel with the flight brokerage: permits filed weeks ahead, vet and lab appointments sequenced to your departure day, and originals in the flight folder before wheels-up. The corridor rules are the same ones behind our route guides — from the Taiwan export protocol to Hong Kong's cargo rules (which, notably, private charter cabin arrivals can legally avoid where commercial ones cannot).
Where we fly
From Taipei, regional charters reach Hong Kong, Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore, Bangkok and Manila nonstop in a light or midsize jet; heavy jets connect Taiwan with Dubai, Sydney, London, Paris and the US West Coast. Inbound, we position pet-friendly aircraft into Taiwan from anywhere — with the import file already approved when you land.
A concierge team around the flight
Your private flight, fully handled
886JetPet's VIP desk is a single point of contact for the aircraft and everything around it — one coordinator, one calendar, one itemised quote.
Pet-friendly operators and aircraft vetted for cabin animal policies, routing, and range — with transparent pass-through pricing.
APHIA export inspection, destination import permits, titers and health certificates — filed, tracked and placed in the flight folder.
Private car from your residence to the FBO at both ends; your pet never sees a terminal queue.
Cabin crew briefing, travel bedding, familiar food and water service, and a vet-approved comfort plan for nervous flyers.
House-call veterinarians where available; clinic visits chauffeured and chaperoned when not.
NDAs on request, unmarked transfers, and a team accustomed to working with family offices and executive assistants.
Private jet pet travel — questions we hear from VIP clients
Can my pet really sit in the cabin?
Yes. On a private charter the operator's pet policy replaces airline rules, and we only work with operators that welcome animals in the cabin. Harnessed on a seat or settled on travel bedding, your pet flies the way you do.
How far in advance should I book?
The aircraft can often be sourced in days; the paperwork is the long pole. For most destinations, contact us 4–8 weeks before your preferred date. Titer-dependent routes (Japan, Australia, New Zealand) need longer — see the corridor guides for the clocks that cannot be compressed.
What does it cost?
Regional charters from Taipei start in the tens of thousands of US dollars; long-haul heavy jets are a multiple of that. Shared charters and first-class escorted options bring the price down substantially. Every quote is itemised: aircraft, permits, ground, concierge — no percentages hidden in the airfare.
Can you handle the humans too?
The charter carries your whole party. We coordinate with your assistant or family office on passenger manifests, catering and ground arrangements so the pet file and the family's travel land on the same schedule.
Your pet's seat is in the cabin. Let's book the rest.
Tell us the route, the dates and who's flying — two legs or four. The VIP desk will come back with aircraft options, the full compliance calendar and one itemised price, usually within a business day.
